Heartgard Plus (ivermectin/pyrantel) is a monthly, real-beef-flavored chewable for dogs that prevents deadly heartworm disease and treats/controls three hookworm and two roundworm species. It is safe for dogs 6 weeks or older, but must be prescribed by a veterinarian following a heartworm test.
